The markets in Toronto retreated Thursday in the Light Trade, mainly anchored due to resources problems, since the main index did not have to compete for attention, since the Americans had the day off for Juneteeenth.

Empire Company declared profits of the fourth quarter. Empire’s shares shot $ 2.77, or 5.3%, at $ 54.67. In another part of the basic consumption products, Jamieson Wellness won 36 cents, or 1%, at $ 36.47.
Patriot Metals also showed profits of the fourth quarter. Patriot shares faded eight cents, or 3.6%, at $ 2.01.
On the other hand, medical care actions decreased, with the pharmaceutical firm Bausch Health Companies that fell 22 cents, or 2.6% to $ 8.24.
The materials weigh the heaviest in the Thorsday market, with the Ivanhoe mines falling 28 cents, or 2.7%, at $ 10.22, while Capstone Mining backed up 26 cents, or 3.4%, at $ 7.47.
In discretionary consumption actions, BRP Inc. shares sank 44 cents at $ 64.82, while Dollarama fell from $ 1.36 to $ 189.35.

Energy actions even tried things, with Eerflex assuming 26 cents, or 2.4%, at $ 11.00, while Paramount Resources conquered 53 cents, or 2.4%, at $ 22.99.
The industrialists also won, especially the AECON group, more than 45 cents, or 2.3%, to $ 20.20, while Inc. added 43 cents, or 1.2%, to $ 36.81.
Investors now expect Canadian retail sales data on Friday to assess whether consumer spending has been resistant to tariff uncertainty.

The four winners were led by energy, 0.6% more, while the basic and industrial products of consumers, ahead of 0.3% each.
