American taxpayers must continuous lawyers for unaccompanied alien children (UAC) who face deportation, the United States district judge, Araceli Martinez Olguin, has failed.
Olguin, born in Mexico City, Mexico, and appointed for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, has issued a national order that blocks President Donald Trump to end the funds of the taxpayers that will be used to pay the Uacyers.
The Trump administration had tried to get Olguin out of the case, revealing that once worked as a manager lawyer for one of the main plaintiffs in the case, the legal services of the community in East Palo Alto.
The Trump administration lawyers said that the management of the case by Olguin presents a “bias appearance” due to their previous work with the plaintiffs.
American taxpayers have been forced to pay billions of dollars by lawyers for the UACs that make their way through the Nations Immigration Court system.
More than 25,000 UAC are tested with thesis -free lawyers, thanks to the financing approved by the Congress year after year.
In early April, Olguin issued a temporary detention to the Trump order that seeks to finish free lawyers for the UAC, writing that “continuous financing of legal representation for unaccompanied children promotes efficiency and equity system.”
