Operations at Delhi airport are currently normal thinking that some flights could be affected due to the conditions of the airspace in the midst of the military conflict between India and Pakistan, authorities said.

Improved security measures have been established in airports throughout the country as the military conflict between the two nations intensified.

Delhi International Airport Ltd (Dial), which operates the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital, said in an X position that the operations are currently normal at the airport.

“However, due to the evolutionary conditions of the airspace and improved security measures, according to the hoble of the Civil Aviation Security Office, some flight schedules can be affected and the processing times of safety control points can take longer,” he said.

Passengers have also been advised to arrive early to accommodate possible delays in security controls.

The dial also asked passengers to cooperate with the airline and security personnel for facilitation without problems.

On Friday, 138 flights to and from Delhi airport were canceled by several airlines.
