Bunnings facial recognition breached privacy

Bunnings Group’s use of facial recognition technology breached the privacy of thousands of Australians, Privacy Commissioner Carly Kind has found.
The hardware giant installed facial recognition CCTV at 63 stores across Victoria and New South Wales between November 2018 and 2021.
